NOÉ'S ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2020 IS AVAILABLE!

We are proud to present our 2020 activity report with our various actions carried out by our National Pole, which deals with the restoration of ordinary biodiversity, and those of our International Pole, which is in charge of safeguarding threatened species and managing protected areas. This report shows our results and our future ambitions to pursue our commitment to the protection of biodiversity in France and internationally.
17 May 2021
This year again, despite the difficulties linked to COVID 19, Noé and his team managed to put 2020 under the theme of commitment, protection and reconnection. Digital was also in the spotlight, as Noé increased the number of digital conferences to ensure its role in raising awareness of the need to protect biodiversity.

A successful year for our two divisions! The National division has multiplied its actions to restore ordinary biodiversity with its various programmes, such as its Prairies de Noé programme, which has encouraged the rehabilitation of pollinating insects, particularly with its partner Lu Harmony, by sowing around 900 hectares of flowery fallow land. Our participatory science programme was also mobilised during the "One day, one species! ". Launched during the period of confinement, this competition allowed each photographer to (re)discover the nature of their balcony or garden by posting a new photo of a wild species on the Noé forum every day.

Our international division and its Parcs de Noé programme expanded its activities, particularly in Niger, with the recruitment and training of many new employees, the establishment of the first infrastructures and the reinforcement of missions in the field with the involvement of communities. The Natural Sectors & Green Economy mission welcomed and launched a new programme: BIONAT - organic and natural products from Cameroon, with objectives to promote and conserve biodiversity as well as the economic development of communities living around the Dja Biosphere Reserve and the Benue National Park. Finally, Noé has been recognised as an ambassador for the future of the Caledonian forest thanks to its dedicated Conservation and Restoration programme! To close the year and highlight this programme, Noé has organised a photo exhibition of New Caledonian palms and conifers: an opportunity to discover the incredible diversity of shapes and colours of these species. To relive the exhibition, visit our Facebook page!

All these actions have been made possible thanks to the support of our partners and donors.
